If you cut down the trees, where will you find shade?
You may find shade, but where will you find oxygen?
How will you save a dying human being?
If there are no trees left, how will you survive?
You will build this by cutting trees, you will build that by cutting trees,
But if no trees remain, what will you do?
If you keep cutting trees and destroy the forests,
Where will the animals of the forest go?
If they lose their homes, they will perish.
Then you will be called the guilty one.
You worship those who are linked with nature,
Yet if you cut them down, can you truly be called human?
Plant trees, protect trees,
Only then will you be able to live a happy life.

काटोगे पेड़ तो छाँव कहाँ से लाओगे,
छाँव तो ले आओगे, ऑक्सीजन कहाँ से लाओगे।
मरते हुए इंसान को कैसे बचाओगे,
पेड़ ही न रहे तो कैसे जी पाओगे।
पेड़ काट के ये बनाओगे, पेड़ काट के वो बनाओगे,
पेड़ ही न रहे तो क्या करोगे।
पेड़ काट-काट के जंगल खत्म कर दोगे,
जंगल ही न रहे तो जंगल के जानवर कहाँ जाएँगे।
उनका घर ही न रहा, वो तो मर ही जाएँगे,
फिर तुम मुजरिम कहलाओगे, फिर तुम मुजरिम कहलाओगे।
करते हो पूजा जिनकी, उसी को काट दोगे,
तो इंसान भी न कहलाओगे।
पेड़ लगाओगे, पेड़ बचाओगे,
तो खुशी से जी पाओगे।
