How Must Farmers Be?
By Vishwakarma Deepanjali
How must farmers be,
Burning under the scorching sun, drenched in the pouring rain?
Has anyone ever stopped to think,
What their life must truly be like?
No holidays, not even a moment of rest,
We have only seen them working endlessly.
No one has truly understood their pain,
No one has recognised their worth.
Yet the food they grow
Is eaten by every person.
Often staying hungry themselves,
They fill the stomachs of the world.
If they did not exist,
People would suffer from hunger everywhere.
Without farmers on this earth,
Famine would spread far and wide.
Because farmers are here,
This world remains precious and alive.
Without them, this world would be
Like a human without a heartbeat.
Then why is a farmer’s value so often ignored?
Why does no one seem to understand?
The one who gives life to the world—
Why is that person not truly appreciated?
