There are some days when I feel overwhelmed due to the love I gain from my near and dear ones but some feel pathetic due to severe torture I face said the mother Earth to her child.
Welcome to the story of mother Earth where we will dive into some in depth secrets and problems faced by the mother Earth which remains unattended by human beings but felt by the nature.
Once there was a time when mother Earth used to be happy and full of joy because at that time humans knew the value of nature and used the resources judicially and effectively. Humans were known to the nature very well and respected the nature the same way they wanted to be respected. At that time each and every moment felt like a dream to the people who were listening to the story because in this Era people are forgetting to respect the mother Earth but hope that they will get fruitful outcomes from the mother Earth.
In the present time humans are ungrateful to the mother Earth, they can’t bow in front of her because they feel as if their self respect will deteriorate if they bow their heads in front of nature which gives them each and every essential nutrient like food to eat in the form of vegetables, fruits, spices (especially in India) water to drink, air to breath, shed to have seat when they feel excessive heat but what mother Earth faces at the end? Betrayal from the very own beings whom she treats as her own child, for whom she is ready to fight only to protect them.
People are exploiting the resources provided by the nature senselessly feeling that they have enough to use and have enough to feed their future generations, but this is absolutely wrong because they don’t even have enough to feed themselves, their children. In Ukraine, due to war conditions and exploitation of resources in excess amount by the residents and Russia for the war purpose, they are facing a huge scarcity of resources, shortage of food and water supply. Infant mortality rate of Ukraine has risen from 6.5 in 2021 to 9 in 2024 this is because of lack of infrastructural facility which caused many deaths of citizens, foreign students which came for study or settlement purpose.
Not only in other countries but in India as well since past 12 months country has faced numerous disturbance in the environment for instance FLOODS in PUNJAB, Air India crash news due to sudden shift in Aeroutical Pressure, death of 8 elephants due to train crash and many more. Earlier humans have exploitated a large amount of nature’s vital nutrients, resources and caused destruction with the help of deforestation for the purpose of development of India which in turn leads to construction of multi storey buildings to be handled by the ministers for their own well being purposes only.
It is well said that “do whatever you want to do be it good or bad atleast mother is the one who will always be their for you in every situation standing behind you, supporting you always.” But there is a limit to bear each and everything, every person has his/her bar set be it a mother only, she also has right to speak up when she wants similarly human beings have touched the peak of tolerance of mother Earth in causing exploitation. Now the nature is showing what it can do in return of the deeds of human beings. All this exploitation is the result of human deeds only.
This has led to change in the climatic conditions such as summer season lasts longer in comparison to that of winter season, sudden change in the weather for instance some places face droughts (at some places in Rajasthan) while some face excessive rainfall (as
seen in cherrapunji) and much more.
This has resulted in loss of vegetation by the farmers due to either excessive drought condition at some places or
excessive rainfall at some places. During the floods in Punjab, many residents lost their homes to the floods, whole lot of crops got destroyed due to excessive amount of water, many have lost their loved ones during the night due to sudden increase in the flow of water towards them.
In many parts of India, people feel that street dogs are not safe and must be thrown away or kept in other places in order to feel secured, but those people are forgetting this thing that these animals are the one’s who make girl feel safe while returning to their home at late night, they protect them from the goons or people trying to misbehave with them. Though they are voiceless, they can’t tell their pain to anyone but that doesn’t mean you can easily pick them and throw them in shelters where they can’t even breathe properly due to overcrowding.
In a nutshell, Government must take initiatives of educating the citizens about the judicial use of resources, respect towards mother nature along with respect towards animals, knowledge about the resources. Mother Earth teaches us both calmness and furiousness but in well manner, she is just like Maa Durga holding dual personalities as her.
It is well said that the way you treat theperson in front be it a human being, animal or nature, the same way you will earn in return as it is a karmic суcle which keeps on moving that is it is endless.
