What is WriteToWin?
WriteToWin is a national article writing competition for school students (Classes 6-12) focused on the important theme of Environment and Climate Change. It’s a free platform designed to help young writers showcase their talent, research a vital topic, and become advocates for our planet.
Who can enter? Am I too young/old?
The competition is open to all students enrolled in Classes 6 through 12 who are residents of India. We have separate prize categories for different grade levels to ensure fair competition for everyone!
What kind of articles can I submit? What's the topic?
The theme for this competition is Environment and Climate Change. You can write an article on any topic within this theme that you are passionate about—from local conservation efforts to global climate policy.
Help! What's the word limit?
Your article should be between 800 and 2500 words. This does not include the title or your list of references.
What format should my article be in?
Please submit your article as either a Word document (.doc, .docx), a PDF file or an Image – png/jpg. No restriction on formatting, but It must be readable.
Can I submit more than one article?
No, only one article submission is permitted per student to ensure everyone has a fair chance. But if you have submitted the wrong file, then you can ask for resubmission.
How do I actually submit my article?
All articles may be submitted through the official online entry form on our website. This ensures a fair and anonymous judging process. We may also accept submissions via email. You may send it to support@writetowin.online.
What are the prizes? (Besides getting participation certificate, of course!)
We have a total prize pool of ₹1,00,000 with 59 winners quarterly across 3 different age categories! Prizes include a top prize of up to ₹10,000 and many other cash awards. All winners also receive an e-certificate. You can see the full breakdown on our “Prizes” section.
Who are the judges?
We have a fantastic panel of judges, including retired district judges, a retired Lieutenant Colonel, a VP from an Indian multinational conglomerate, a Judicial Magistrate, practising Supreme Court advocate, an engineer from IIT Kanpur, professors from different University and the United Nations also, and the Director of a Law College!

How will my article be judged? What are you looking for?
Your article will be judged anonymously based on our official Judging Rubric. We are looking for originality, clarity, good research, impactful arguments, and strong writing skills.
Who owns the copyright to my article?
You retain the copyright to your work. By submitting, you grant Adjuva Legal a non-exclusive license to potentially publish it on our website (with full credit to you, of course!). See the Terms and Conditions for details.
